Covid Guidance
To keep my clients and myself safe, it is compulsory for all clients to fill out a Covid questionnaire before their appointment. I have carried out a full risk assessment to ensure I can safely work.
Before I arrive at my client’s house, I do the following:
- Ensure equipment is cleaned with a contact disinfectant spray
- Spray my door handles, seat, and steering wheel with contact disinfectant spray
- Clean my tools following the manufacturers guidelines and using professional beauty solutions
- Use single use towel when requested by clients
- Spread out appointments so I have adequate time to clean in between clients
- Ask clients to fill in a Covid questionnaire before their appointment
On arrival
- I will be wearing full PPE including safety goggles, a 3-ply single use medical mask, single use gloves and a deposable apron
- I will remove my shoes at the door and change into clean socks (socks will be changed after each client)
- I will wash my hands following the government guidelines
- I will ask my client to wash their hands too
- Clients will have the option on whether they would like single use towels or towels washed at 60 degrees centigrade
During the appointment
- I kindly ask that other household members keep a 1 metre distance during the treatment
- Clients refrain from using their phone during manicure treatments due to cross infection
- Clients are required to wear a face cover unless medically exempt
- There must be good ventilation in the work area. I will kindly ask to keep the window open. (we can work outside – weather permitting of course)
- I will remove my own waste
- Currently I still cannot accept drinks at my client’s houses. (I will take my own bottle of water)
